Armenia’s State Budget Tax Revenues Reach AMD 2.7 Trillion in 2025

According to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, tax and customs revenues collected in January-December 2025 totaled AMD 2,725,242.6 million, forming the core of the state budget’s income.
Most major tax categories recorded year-on-year growth compared to 2024.
VAT revenues increased by 21%, reaching AMD 914,325.5 million.
Personal income tax rose by 11.8% to AMD 726,897.3 million.
Corporate profit tax grew by 19.6%, totaling AMD 401,523.3 million.
Excise tax revenues increased by 12.1% to AMD 164,315.2 million.
Social contributions expanded by 12.7%, amounting to AMD 116,504.2 million.
The strongest relative growth was recorded in the turnover tax, up 30.1% to AMD 79,209.5 million.
State duties rose by 19%, reaching AMD 95,772.7 million.
At the same time, several categories declined.
Customs duties decreased by 1.3% to AMD 75,208.6 million.
Environmental and natural resource payments dropped significantly, down 29.3% to AMD 71,026.9 million.
Other taxes edged down by 1.05% to AMD 80,459.4 million.
VAT remains the largest source of state budget revenue, while turnover tax demonstrated the most dynamic growth in 2025.
