VTB Armenia Bank has announced the launch of a new MIR Travel multi-currency card designed for customers who regularly travel between Russia and Armenia.
The card allows users to hold and use funds in two currencies simultaneously – Armenian drams (AMD) and Russian rubles (RUB) – make payments without currency conversion, and transfer money between Russia and Armenia.
Key features of the MIR Travel card
- Multi-currency format: simultaneous access to AMD and RUB accounts.
- Free top-ups in rubles within Russia.
- Instant cash withdrawals in AMD in Armenia using an additional card.
- Card-to-card transfers and cash deposits via ATMs in Russia – commission-free and available 24/7.
- Up to two additional cards can be issued for the main account.
Payments with the MIR Travel card are accepted across Russia, including for online purchases, making it a convenient tool for everyday spending and cross-border money transfers.
How to apply
To issue the main card, a passport and social card are required. When issuing an additional card for a third party, an identity document of the cardholder must be presented.
