The CBA Published a List of Crypto-Asset Service Providers in Armenia

The AFM team has analyzed the list of crypto-service providers subject to the Law on Non-Cash Transactions. These are the companies through which one can buy, sell, or exchange crypto-assets in Armenia.

The published list includes:

1. Coin Exchange
2. Skylabs Technologies (cryptomats)
3. Bitcoinpro
4. Bitcoin Center
5. Bitcoin.am
6. Premium Trading Armenia
7. Cryptoinvest
8. Bncex
9. Crypto Exchange Yerevan
10. Kaexchange
11. Payin
12. CryptoExchangeArmenia

The Central Bank’s website specifically notes that the brand names are not verified by the regulator.

Regulation of Crypto-Asset Operations

Settlements for crypto-asset operations are carried out predominantly in non-cash form. In turn, cash operations are permitted only if all of the following conditions are met:

1. The transaction amount is up to 300,000 AMD.
2. The operation is conducted through a registered provider.
3. Client identification (KYC) is mandatory.

What This Means for Users

1. All crypto-asset operations are processed through official services.
2. In most cases, a bank card or electronic payment will be required.
3. Identity verification may be required when using cryptomats and exchange points.

Armenia's crypto-service market already operates within a regulated framework—with a defined list of providers and strict non-cash settlement requirements. This translates to increased transparency and predictability when dealing with crypto-assets.
