The Board of the Central Bank of Armenia at its meeting on September 16, 2025 decided to keep the refinancing rate at 6.75%, the Lombard repo rate at 8.25% and the deposit rate at 5.25%. The decision was driven by moderate inflation. Annual inflation in August was 3.6%, core inflation 3.7%. This marks the fifth time since June 2023 that the key rate remains unchanged. CBA noted that maintaining the rate aims to ensure price stability and balanced economic growth. Further decisions will be made based on inflation dynamics, domestic demand and the global economic situation.
