AFM Best Deposit Rates Ranking: Armenian Banks Offer Up to 10% APY in January 2026

The AFM team has completed its analysis of official banking tariffs in Armenia, forming a comprehensive ranking of 1-year fixed-term deposits. As of January 2026, maximum yields for AMD-denominated deposits have reached 10% per annum, while USD and EUR deposits offer up to 5% and 2.5% respectively.


The market leaders for AMD deposit yields are AMIO Bank, Byblos Bank Armenia, and Artsakhbank, offering up to 10% per annum for 1-year terms without the option for top-ups.


For USD-denominated deposits, AMIO Bank provides the maximum rate of up to 5% per annum, while other major banks maintain yields within the 4.25–4.75% range.


In the EUR segment, Araratbank offers the highest yield for approximately 1-year terms at up to 2.5% per annum, whereas most other banks offer rates between 2% and 2.25%.
