The AFM team has completed its analysis of official banking tariffs in Armenia, forming a comprehensive ranking of 1-year fixed-term deposits. As of January 2026, maximum yields for AMD-denominated deposits have reached 10.25% per annum, while USD and EUR deposits offer up to 5.75% and 1.75% respectively.
AMIO Bank emerged as the market leader for both local and foreign currency, offering up to 10.25% in AMD and 5.75% in USD for 12-month placements without top-up options.
Competitive rates of up to 10% APY in AMD are also provided by Byblos Bank Armenia, Artsakhbank, Converse Bank, Unibank, and Inecobank.
In the foreign currency segment, major players are maintaining a yield range of 4.5–5.75% for USD and up to 1.75% for EUR.
