Construction output in Armenia increased by 20.1% over 11 months of 2025

In January – November 2025, the volume of construction works in Armenia amounted to AMD 644,590.2 million at current prices, marking a 20.1% increase compared to the same period of 2024. This was reported by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.


In November 2025 alone, construction output reached AMD 93,155.7 million, which is 17.2% higher than in November of the previous year.


Structure of funding sources over 11 months:


  1. state budget: AMD 166,412.2 million (25.8% of total volume, growth of 34.6%)
  2. community funds: AMD 34,991.9 million (5.4%, growth of 28.1%)
  3. organizational funds: AMD 298,960.7 million (46.4%, growth of 15%)
  4. household funds: AMD 141,885.1 million (22%, growth of 16.4%)
  5. humanitarian assistance: AMD 2,340.3 million (0.4%, decline of 36.2%)


Construction financed through international loans totaled AMD 32,520.4 million (5.4%), which is 17.1% lower than a year earlier.


The largest volumes of construction works were recorded in:


  1. real estate activities: AMD 325,568.4 million (50.5%)
  2. transport: AMD 83,077.0 million (12.9%)
  3. education: AMD 72,520.7 million (11.3%)


Overall, in 2025 Armenia’s construction sector demonstrates steady growth, driven primarily by domestic sources of financing, including the state budget, organizational funds, and household investments. At the same time, the contribution of international loans to total construction output is declining, reflecting a shift in the sector’s financing structure.
