Mobile Payment Methods Change in Armenia: Where to Top Up Your Balance Now

Following the termination of cooperation between mobile operators and major independent payment systems, users are navigating a new financial reality.

As of February 2026, mobile service payments are no longer accepted via the following terminals and e-wallets:

1. Idram
2. Telcell
3. EasyPay
4. Fast Shift

However, the market has not come to a standstill - operators and banks have swiftly restructured their infrastructure. AFM has analyzed the situation and compiled a comprehensive list of active channels for recharging mobile balances and financial accounts in Armenia.

1. Mobile Operators' Internal Channels

Each operator has strengthened its own ecosystem, offering commission-free payments through official services.

Viva Armenia

1. Available channels: My Viva app, viva.am (online payments section), Internet Assistant portal, and MobiDram terminals/branches.

Team Telecom Armenia

1. Available channels: TeamPay app, official website (telecomarmenia.am), and Team terminals/service centers.

Ucom

1. Available channels: My Ucom and Upay (U! Pay) apps, ucom.am website, and Ucom sales and service centers.

2. Banking Sector: Mobile Apps and ATMs

Mobile top-ups remain available through all 17 commercial banks in Armenia (with specific exceptions for communication services within the IDBank app).

Online Banking and Mobile Apps Top banks include:

1. Ameriabank (MyAmeria)
2. ACBA Bank (acba digital)
3. Evocabank (EvocaTOUCH)
4. Inecobank (InecoMobile)
5. Converse Bank

Specialized Cards

Select banks offer solutions for cross-border transfers and top-ups:

1. VTB Armenia – "VTB-Transfer" and MIR Travel cards.

3. Cross-Platform Payment Systems

Despite the conflict with Idram, mobile operators have maintained cooperation between their respective financial divisions.

1. MobiDram (Viva): Payments for Viva, Team Telecom, and Ucom; topping up cards of any RA bank (except HSBC Visa Plus).
2. TeamPay (Team Telecom): Commission-free payments for all three operators.
3. Upay / U! Pay (Ucom): Accepts payments for Ucom, Viva, and Team Telecom.
4. HayPost: Balance top-ups at all 900 post offices and via the HayPost mobile app.

Intra-Network Transfers

1. "Poghancum" (Viva)
2. "Balance Transfer" (Team) These services allow transferring funds from one mobile balance to another within the same network.

The main trend of 2026 is the shift toward operator and banking ecosystems, moving away from independent payment intermediaries. AFM will continue to monitor the payment market and publish updates.
